Don Hoffman’s Classic Holiday Gem Boasts 20,000 Downloads
Author Don Hoffman’s A Very Special Snowflake, the children’s best-seller with more than one million copies sold worldwide has reached another impressive milestone. As of December 22, the interactive iPad app has received over 20,000 downloads on the Apple iTunes Store with more than 15,000 units downloaded in a recent two-day period. This success has led to the development of two additional apps, which are currently in production to be completed in 2016.
A Very Special Snowflake was designed and developed by experiential marketing agency, Brightline Interactive. Brightline infused creative technology into a series of in-app games to complement the beautiful illustrations and animations of A Very Special Snowflake. Among these games are “Create Your Own Scene” and” Hide-and-Seek,” which offer readers a chance to craft their own snow-filled landscapes and search for their own face within the illustrations. Brightline incorporated the use of the iPad’s accelerometer, giving readers the ability to change the direction of the snowfall by tilting the iPad in either direction.
