(New York, New York) This holiday season, Candlelighters NYC, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping the families of children diagnosed with and being treated for cancer, is partnering with Peek-A-Boo Publishing Group to gift families books. Operating with the mission, “Because Kids Can’t Fight Cancer Alone,” the organization plays a crucial role in helping affected families with children battling cancer by assisting through all stages of the disease, including discovery, diagnosis, treatment and remission.

Candlelighters NYC is a free service that is open to all families in the New York City area with a child who is currently being treated for cancer by offering emotional and immediate support during difficult times. The main focus of Candlelighters is to provide a support system full of fun and comfort during such an extremely difficult time.

“We are thankful that our families will be able to enjoy the generous contribution from Peek-A-Boo Publishing Group. Through the magic of the books that Peek-A-Boo is donating, our children will be able to escape their everyday hardship with the power of storytelling” said Barbara Zobian, Founder and Executive Director of Candlelighters NYC.

Peek- A- Book Publishing Group, a publishing house with an exciting new approach to quality children’s literature, is helping to bring joy to the families of Candlelighters NYC this holiday season. Peek-A-Boo will be donating books to the many children and families associated with the organization for the 10th annual holiday party on December 17, 2016. Every child attending the event will receive a book to help make the holidays a little brighter as they fight this battle.

“Peek-A-Boo Publishing Group believes strongly in giving back to their core audience, children, which makes this partnership a natural fit,” said Don Hoffman, Founder of Peek-A-Book Publishing Group.
